Dr. Robert Jackson

Our speaker Dr. Robert Jackson helped to start the Carolina Pregnancy Center in Spartanburg, SC as well as three other CPCs and has been an advocate for the unborn since the mid-1980s.  As a father and grandfather, a medical doctor, a Bible teacher, and an experienced pro-life activist, God uses Dr. Robert Jackson to inspire, educate, and mobilize people to “do something” by praying, volunteering and financially supporting Pregnancy Centers.

We operate solely on the funds donated by individuals/families, churches, and companies local to
Lake Norman. We do not accept government funding of any kind. This fundraising event accounts
for raising nearly 40% of our annual budget.

Our goal for the fundraising dinner this year is $200,000

Every dollar raised above the cost of the event goes toward funding our mission. The donations from this event fuel the mission of the Pregnancy Center. It takes nearly $1,200 to empower one mom to choose life for her child.
Your gift will ensure our services remain free of charge to our clients.

Mission Statement:

The Community Pregnancy Center is a Christ centered ministry committed to upholding the SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE by demonstrating the love of Christ to women facing crisis pregnancies through the provision of spiritual, physical, and emotional support and by proclaiming the gospel.

Services:

The following services are free of charge and strictly confidential.

  • Pregnancy tests and limited ultrasound.
  • Education on pregnancy, abortion and its risks, abortion alternatives and adoption education.
  • Referrals for medical care, Social Services and adoption.
  • HOPE – one year support program.  This group focuses on parenting, including ongoing education, prenatal care, parenting skills, life skills, job and interview education, etc. Bi-monthly Bible study is a  part of HOPE as well. Maternity clothes, infant to toddler clothes, baby furniture, and food and formula supplied through HOPE.
  • “Forgiven and Set Free” post-abortion counseling for those experiencing the ongoing pain of a past abortion.
  • Counseling on sexual lifestyle  decisions  and  the  biblical view of abstinence. Education on abstinence offered to our community.

 

Table Host Information

Prayerfully consider, then personally invite at least 8 people including you to attend our Fundraising Event.   

It takes nearly $1,200 to empower one mom to choose life for her child at the Pregnancy Center.

This year our goal is to empower 167 moms through this Fundraising Event

If each table  group empowers 3 moms we will reach our goal.

$3,600 may sound like an ambitious goal, but it helps to know what we are reaching for
and what we are trusting GOD to provide.

There are just three steps to follow:

  1. Pray. Let GOD lead you as you invite guests for your table.
  2. As you are deciding who to invite, think of people of influence in your church, neighborhood, or work place (doctors, lawyers, business professionals, your pastor, etc.) who would have a heart for our ministry and the means to give.
  3. Share your heart for the pregnancy care ministry with them and let them know it’s a fundraising event.

To put things in perspective, remember that our goal can be reached through one time gifts as well as monthly pledges.  If each of your 8 guests pledged to give as little as $38 per month, it would meet your table’s goal.

Make sure your guests understand that there is no charge for them to join the event.  Don’t be afraid to let them know it is a Fundraising Event.  The ministry is funded by many people who are not necessarily wealthy, but have a heart and a commitment to the ministry.

After receiving a yes from your invited guests, be sure and provide them with a reservation card so they have all of the information needed to attend. Then call them 4 days before the event to confirm their reservation.  

Please complete the necessary “Table Host Guest List” and return it by April 28, 2022.  You may send this list by fax or email. 

Be sure to include your guests’ email addresses.

Reconfirm your list by, May 12, 2022. Call the CPC (704-664-4673) or email us additions or deletions.

We are committed to helping clients make wise and healthy decisions. We give them accurate information to help them think through their situation and how to move forward. Often it is in the consultation room that clients begin to feel empowered to choose life for their baby.

We offer clients educational programs to help them understand their life-circumstances in a more healthy and complete way. The classes you help to support include parenting, life-skills, Bible studies and abortion recovery. Our moms can attend our parenting support classes during pregnancy and through their babies’ first year.

Empowering a mom to choose life is sometimes as simple as offering material assistance to help meet the needs that new parents encounter. This can be in the form of diapers, baby clothes, and baby equipment such as a brand new car seat or it can be in the form of helping out with a utility bill or offering rent assistance. Your sponsorship helps to ensure that clients are able to provide necessities for their babies.

It costs approximately $1,200 to empower one mom to choose life for her child. Your sponsorship will directly impact one mom’s ability to choose life for her child by supporting our medical services and educational programs. Our total goal for this year’s Banquet is to empower 167 moms.

When you host a table, it gives you the opportunity to invite guests who can give at a high level to help you reach a night-of minimum of $3,600 per table.
